In the process of designing and building Vaultas, we surveyed data center users, IT professionals and industry colleagues throughout Central Minnesota and the Upper Midwest to assess their data center requirements. Of primary importance were data power, cooling, network access and security. Other priorities included vendor-neutrality, flexibility and MN colocation centers that help them achieve strategic advantage and satisfy their regulatory compliance requirements — and all of this delivered in the context of reduced budgets and leaner resources.
